Bharat Dynamics has secured fresh orders worth ₹1,347.71 crore from HAL for Helina launchers, LRUs and countermeasure systems.
State-run defence manufacturer Bharat Dynamics Ltd (BDL) has received fresh orders worth ₹1,347.71 crore from Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL). This is an important addition to its order pipeline at a time when the company’s stock has been under pressure after a weak March quarter.
On 24 June 2026, BDL’s share price was down another 0.51% to close the day at ₹1,383.50 on the National Stock Exchange(NSE). On 25 June 2026, shares were up by 0.43% at ₹1,389.50.
What Does The New Order From HAL Include?
The bulk of the order is for Helina Launchers and Line Replaceable Units (LRUs), valued at ₹1,109.37 crore. In addition, Bharat Dynamics has secured an order worth ₹238.34 crore for Counter Measures Dispensing System (CMDS) LRUs. Together, the two contracts have a gross value of ₹1,347.71 crore.
The company said that further details of the contracts cannot be disclosed due to confidentiality requirements related to national security. BDL also clarified that the contracts do not fall under related-party transactions and that neither its promoters nor promoter group entities have any interest in the awards.

What Is The Execution Timeline For The Contracts?
According to the company, the orders will be executed over a period of two to five years. The staggered execution schedule is expected to support production activity over the medium term as Bharat Dynamics continues to supply missiles and other defence equipment to the Indian armed forces and government agencies.
BDL is one of India's key defence manufacturers and is primarily engaged in producing missiles and allied defence systems for the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. The company reported a challenging fourth quarter in FY26. Its net profit fell 58.5% year-on-year to ₹113 crore, compared with ₹273 crore in the corresponding period last year.
