Balrampur Chini Mills Q1 FY 2026-27 Results
Balrampur Chini Mills’ Q1 FY27 results show a 14.5% decline in net profit and a 6.96% fall in EBITDA margin.

Balrampur Chini Mills Q1 FY 2026-27 Results: Balrampur Chini Mills reported a decline in June quarter profit and a contraction in operating margin, even as revenue grew during the period. The company separately announced the appointment of a new independent director to its board, effective from the same day.

Balrampur Chini Mills Q1 FY 2026-27 Results: Sugar manufacturer Balrampur Chini Mills Ltd reported its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, on Tuesday, August 11.

Net profit declined 14.5% year-on-year to Rs 44.1 crore, compared with Rs 51.6 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Revenue rose 6% year-on-year to Rs 1,636.8 crore, compared with Rs 1,542.3 crore in the year-ago period.

EBITDA declined 15% year-on-year to Rs 114 crore, compared with Rs 134.3 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. EBITDA margin consequently contracted by 170 basis points to 6.96% from 8.71% a year earlier.

Balrampur Chini Mills announced the appointment of Vartika Shukla as an Additional Director in the category of Non-Executive Independent Director, subject to shareholder approval. Shukla has been appointed for a term of five consecutive years, effective from August 11, 2026, to August 10, 2031, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

According to the company, Shukla has over 38 years of experience in engineering consultancy, project management, business strategy and energy sector transformation, with expertise in mega project implementation, business diversification and sustainability initiatives, including strategic mega project execution from concept to commissioning. She has spent her 38-year career with Engineers India Limited, under the aegis of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas.

Shares of Balrampur Chini Mills ended at Rs 630.25, down Rs 24.10 or 3.68%, on the BSE.
