Avantel Shares Rise Over 8% On ₹177-Crore Zetwerk Order

Avantel shares rose 8.52% after the company received a ₹177.35-crore satellite communication equipment order from Zetwerk. The contract is to be completed by March 2027.
Avantel shares rose 8.52% to ₹158.69 on Thursday after the company announced a ₹177.35-crore order from Zetwerk Manufacturing Businesses Limited for the supply of satellite communication equipment.
The purchase order was dated 22 September 2026 and was issued under a rate contract that Zetwerk had previously awarded to Avantel. The order covers the manufacturing and supply of satellite communication equipment, along with a one-year comprehensive onsite warranty.
Avantel said the contract is for domestic manufacturing and is scheduled to be completed by March 2027. The total value of the order stands at ₹177.35 crore.
The company also said Zetwerk is not a related party and that neither Avantel's promoters nor the promoter group have any interest in the entity that placed the order.
Avantel Share Price And Valuation
At 11:59 AM, Avantel share price stood at ₹154.98 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), up 6.03%.
The latest rise has taken Avantel's market capitalisation to around ₹3,884 crore. The stock's 52-week high stands at ₹215.
Avantel's valuation remains high compared with its recent earnings. The stock has a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 224.29, while its price-to-sales ratio is 15.08 and price-to-book ratio is 11.39.
On the technical side, Trendlyne data shows that the stock is currently below all eight key Simple Moving Averages (SMAs).
FII Holding Rises To 1.54%
Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) increased their holdings in Avantel during the June 2026 quarter. FII ownership stood at 1.54% at the end of the quarter, compared with 0.55% in the previous quarter.
The increase came even as the stock remained below its 52-week high.
Avantel Q1 Profit Rises 67%
Avantel reported revenue of ₹71 crore for the quarter ended June 2026, up 35.8% from the same period a year earlier. Net profit increased 67.2% year-on-year to ₹5 crore in Q1 FY27.
The latest Zetwerk order adds another ₹177.35 crore to the company's order pipeline, with the satellite communication equipment to be manufactured and supplied by March 2027.
