Nykaa Completes 51% Acquisition Of Aminu Wellness; Partners With L’Oréal BOLD

Nykaa and L’Oréal’s corporate venture fund BOLD will jointly invest in emerging Indian beauty and wellness brands. Nykaa has also completed its 51% acquisition of Aminu Wellness.
Nykaa and L’Oréal’s corporate venture fund BOLD are joining hands to invest in emerging Indian beauty and personal care brands, adding a new investment-focused partnership to Nykaa’s beauty ecosystem.
Under the collaboration, the two partners will take minority stakes in Indian beauty and wellness brands that have strong consumer traction and distinctive propositions.
Nykaa’s stock will be in focus as the company expands its presence beyond its core retail business through investments and strategic acquisitions. At the close of the day on 24 September, the Nykaa share price was ₹335.30 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
What Is The Nykaa And L’Oréal BOLD Partnership?
The partnership brings together Nykaa and BOLD, L’Oréal’s corporate venture fund, to back emerging beauty and personal care businesses in India.
The investments will be minority investments, meaning the founders of the brands will continue to control and operate their businesses. The brands will also retain their existing teams, culture and creative direction.
The focus will be on businesses that have already demonstrated consumer traction and have differentiated propositions in the beauty and wellness space.
What Is The Status of Nykaa’s Aminu Wellness Acquisition?
Separately, Nykaa's parent, FSN E-Commerce Ventures, has completed its acquisition of a 51% shareholding in Aminu Wellness Private Limited on a fully diluted basis.
The company had approved the acquisition on 4 August 2026. Nykaa has now completed the required transaction and procedural documents, with the acquired shares credited to its demat account.
Following the transaction, Aminu Wellness has become a subsidiary of FSN E-Commerce Ventures.
How Does The Development Expand Nykaa’s Beauty Strategy?
The two developments put Nykaa’s investment and acquisition activity alongside its existing beauty and personal care operations.
While the BOLD partnership will involve minority investments in emerging brands, the Aminu transaction gives Nykaa a controlling stake in the wellness company.
Together, the developments add another layer to Nykaa’s approach to India’s growing beauty and wellness market, spanning both minority investments and subsidiary acquisitions.
