Stocks To Watch On 05 May 2026: L&T, Tata Technologies, IndiGo & More

Markets ended higher but may open soft. Focus on Tata Technologies, IndiGo, Manappuram, Delhivery, Jindal Stainless, KEI, Wockhardt; L&T, M&M, Hero MotoCorp, Coforge await Q4 results.
The key Indian stock indices closed in green on Monday, i.e. 04 May 2026. The 30-stock Sensex finished 356 points, or 0.46%, higher at 77,269.40. The Nifty 50 rose 122 points and closed at 24,119.30.
However, this upward rally may pause as the signals from the GIFT Nifty indicate a softer start on Tuesday. The index is hovering around 23,032, down about 11.50 points from the previous Nifty futures close.
Key Stocks In Focus
The company delivered a stable performance in the Jan-Mar quarter with the net profit rising by 8.1% YoY to ₹204 crore. However, the margins of the company softened on a YoY basis.
IndiGo has appointed Jochen Hoesch to manage its artificial intelligence (AI), data and analytics functions. Hoesch previously led the AI segment of Airbus. The move reflects a broader shift in India’s aviation industry toward using AI to enhance efficiency.
The company reported a consolidated net profit of ₹404 crore for the fourth quarter, compared with ₹191 crore loss in the same period a year earlier.
The Nomination and Remuneration Committee (NRC) has sanctioned the allocation of 100,360 stock options under its Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP) 2012 scheme to eligible employees, with an exercise price of ₹1 per share.
The country’s top stainless steel maker posted a 43% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter, climbing to ₹844 crore from ₹591 crore in the same period last year.
The company delivered a strong performance in the March quarter, recording double-digit growth across major financial indicators, driven by robust demand in its cables and wires business.
The company staged a sharp recovery in the March quarter, posting a net profit of ₹164 crore compared to a loss of ₹45 crore in the same period last year.
