Benchmark indices, the Sensex and the Nifty 50, were trading in a narrow range, nearly flat, in afternoon trade. At 11:33 am, the Sensex was down 0.034%, while the Nifty 50 was down 0.044%. Broader markets, however, were trading lower, with the Nifty Midcap 100 and Nifty Smallcap 100 down by 0.55% and 0.18%, respectively, at 11:39 am.
