HCL Technologies' net profit rose by 4.2% year-on-year (YoY) to reach ₹4,488 crore in Q4, while revenue increased 12% to ₹33,981 crore. The company has declared a dividend of ₹24 per share.

HCL Technologies delivered a stable performance in Q4FY26, with profits registering a slight increase and revenues expanding robustly, however, the outcome of the quarter was slightly lower than the expectations of the Street.

During the quarter ended March, the company's net profit (after tax) stood at ₹4,488 crore, which is 4.2% higher YoY than ₹4,307 crore. On a sequential basis, the profit was about 10% higher than the December quarter.

HCL Technologies' share price is expected to be closely watched when the market opens. It closed at ₹1,441.20 on the NSE on 21 April 2026, up by nearly 1%.

Revenue came in at ₹33,981 crore, registering a 12.3% growth YoY. However, this was slightly below analyst expectations of around ₹34,200 crore, indicating some softness in demand.

EBIT (Earnings Before Interest and Tax) was ₹5,620 crore, which was 10% less than the figure of ₹6,285 crore in the previous quarter. The operating margin stood at 17.2%.

One key area of concern is that this quarter momentum was week. New bookings amounted to US$1.94 billion as compared to almost US$3 billion in the previous quarters. This is the lowest booking in three quarters, pointing to a slowdown in large deal wins.

One clear positive came from the company’s AI-led offerings. AI and advanced services revenue exceeded US$600 million, which represents nearly 4x growth sequentially. This shows that AI-led demand is picking up strongly, even as traditional IT spending slows.

The sharp drop in deal bookings and cautious FY27 guidance show that global IT demand is still under pressure. However, HCLTech has maintained its strong dividend track record by declaring an amount of ₹24 per share. This is the company’s 93rd consecutive quarter of dividend payout to its investors.
