Here are some other headlines for the day:

  • India’s mainboard initial public offering (IPO) segment set a fresh fundraising record during Samvat 2028, attracting proceeds of ₹2.12 trillion between November 2025 and October 2026. The mobilisation marked the highest-ever total for any rolling 12-month period.

  • Volume growth across India's fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry moderated in the September quarter, with easing rural demand and rising costs weighing more heavily on smaller regional players. Larger listed companies continued to deliver stronger growth.

After an emphatic rally, benchmark indices can witness some consolidation in the next trading session. Lower crude oil prices and positive global developments could provide support. However, concerns around slowing consumption growth may limit gains in select sectors.
