Gurugram-based renewable energy company Juniper Green Energy has fixed a price band of ₹214 to ₹225 per share for its ₹1,800 crore initial public offering (IPO), which opens for subscription on 30 July and closes on 03 August. The offering is structured entirely as a fresh issue with no offer for sale (OFS) component.

Investors can bid for a minimum of 66 equity shares and in multiples thereafter. At the upper end of the price band, the post-listing market capitalisation is expected to be approximately ₹12,800 crore. Eligible employees will receive a discount of ₹21 per share on their bids.

The bulk of the fundraise is earmarked for debt reduction:

    • Repayment of borrowings at the parent company level: ₹683 crore

    • Investment in subsidiaries Juniper Green Gamma One, Juniper Green Kite and Juniper Green Power Five to repay their outstanding debt: ₹729 crore

    • General corporate purposes: Remainder

The company's consolidated outstanding fund-based borrowings stood at ₹13,266 crore as of June-end, making deleveraging the primary rationale for the listing.

Backed by Singapore-based AT Capital Group, Juniper Green Energy claims to be among the top ten largest renewable independent power producers in India. From a single 100 MW solar project commissioned in March 2020, the company has expanded to 50 projects with a total capacity of 7,910.20 MW as of June 2026.

    Portfolio breakdown:

    • Operational projects: 20 with 1,794.80 MW capacity

    • Contracted projects under construction: 19 with 2,875.40 MW capacity

    • Awarded projects under construction: 11 with 3,240 MW capacity

The company has also developed India's first merchant 100 MWh Battery Energy Storage System project in Rajasthan and begun phased commissioning of an integrated Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project combining solar, wind and battery storage.

ICICI Securities, HSBC Securities and Capital Markets India, JM Financial and Kotak Mahindra Capital are the book-running lead managers.
