Airtel Money IPO: Mobile Money Arm Targets Up To US$9 Billion Valuation In London

Airtel Money plans to file for an IPO in London. It is targeting a valuation of US$8–9 billion and at least US$800 million in proceeds. More offer details are expected in early October.
Airtel Money plans to file for an initial public offering (IPO) in London. The business is targeting a valuation of US$8 billion to US$9 billion and aims to raise at least US$800 million from the listing.
The company has not yet disclosed the final number of shares to be offered or the price range. It said additional details of the offer, including the indicative price range and number of shares, will be announced in early October.
What Is Airtel Money?
Airtel Money is the mobile money business of Airtel Africa. The business forms part of the telecom group's operations across its African markets. Airtel Africa is already listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE), and the new listing is expected to be the largest listing on the exchange in the last five years.
The planned IPO would give the mobile money arm a separate listing in London, while Airtel Africa remains the parent company.
Since Airtel Africa contributes to the consolidated revenue of Bharti Airtel Ltd, the news has generated interest among Indian investors too. On 23 September, the Airtel share price ended the day at ₹1,833.20 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
When Will Airtel Money Reveal The IPO Price Range?
The company is expected to provide further information in early October, including the indicative price range and the number of shares being offered.
Airtel Money had initially planned to list in the first half of 2026. The plan was pushed to the second half of the year in May amid market conditions affecting investor interest. The company had cited unfavourable market conditions linked to the US-Israeli war against Iran when announcing the delay.
