Urban Company Q1 FY27 Results: Urban Company reported revenue growth of 44% YoY to ₹528 crore and a 42% YoY increase in consolidated NTV to ₹1,465 crore. The company also narrowed its adjusted EBITDA loss sequentially while its core business delivered record profitability.

Urban Company reported a strong set of numbers for the June quarter, with revenue from operations rising 44% year-on-year to ₹528 crore, marking its fastest revenue growth in the last 16 quarters. The home services platform also reported a 42% growth in consolidated Net Transaction Value (NTV) to ₹1,465 crore. The performance was supported by broad-based growth across its India consumer services, international, Native and InstaHelp businesses.

The company completed 13.2 million orders during the quarter, up 79% from a year ago, while adding more than 1.2 million new users, making it the first quarter in Urban Company's history to cross one million new customer additions.

Despite continuing investments in its quick-service platform InstaHelp, Urban Company improved its profitability. Consolidated adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) loss narrowed to ₹65 crore in Q1 FY27 from ₹98 crore in the March quarter. Excluding InstaHelp, adjusted EBITDA increased 116% year-on-year to ₹67 crore, compared with ₹31 crore in Q1 FY26, with margins improving to 4.8% of NTV.

The company's core India Consumer Services business, excluding InstaHelp, continued to deliver healthy growth. NTV from the segment increased 29% year-on-year to ₹1,056 crore, marking the fifth consecutive quarter of accelerating growth. Adjusted EBITDA from the business stood at ₹73 crore, while margins expanded to 6.9% of NTV, compared with 5.2% in the corresponding quarter last year.

InstaHelp remained the company's largest investment area as it focused on expanding its quick home services offering. Orders on the platform rose 43% sequentially to 3.82 million, while NTV increased 32% quarter-on-quarter to ₹53 crore.

Commenting on the performance, the company said the June quarter was one of its strongest, with broad-based growth across businesses, record profitability in its core operations and continued investments in newer growth initiatives aimed at building long-term leadership.

Urban Company added that its annual transacting user base grew around 21% to 8.2 million, while average spending per user increased about 7%, helping drive overall growth. Demand remained strong beyond major metropolitan cities as Tier-2 markets recorded a 36.2% NTV growth, outpacing the 28.7% growth seen across the top 10 cities.

At the close of the day on 31 July 2026, Urban Company's share price was ₹129.39 on the National Stock Exchange.
