Urban Company Q1 FY27 Results: Urban Company reported revenue growth of 44% YoY to ₹528 crore and a 42% YoY increase in consolidated NTV to ₹1,465 crore. The company also narrowed its adjusted EBITDA loss sequentially while its core business delivered record profitability.
Urban Company reported a strong set of numbers for the June quarter, with revenue from operations rising 44% year-on-year to ₹528 crore, marking its fastest revenue growth in the last 16 quarters. The home services platform also reported a 42% growth in consolidated Net Transaction Value (NTV) to ₹1,465 crore. The performance was supported by broad-based growth across its India consumer services, international, Native and InstaHelp businesses.
The company completed 13.2 million orders during the quarter, up 79% from a year ago, while adding more than 1.2 million new users, making it the first quarter in Urban Company's history to cross one million new customer additions.
Urban Company Q1 FY27: Performance Summary
Despite continuing investments in its quick-service platform InstaHelp, Urban Company improved its profitability. Consolidated adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) loss narrowed to ₹65 crore in Q1 FY27 from ₹98 crore in the March quarter. Excluding InstaHelp, adjusted EBITDA increased 116% year-on-year to ₹67 crore, compared with ₹31 crore in Q1 FY26, with margins improving to 4.8% of NTV.
The company's core India Consumer Services business, excluding InstaHelp, continued to deliver healthy growth. NTV from the segment increased 29% year-on-year to ₹1,056 crore, marking the fifth consecutive quarter of accelerating growth. Adjusted EBITDA from the business stood at ₹73 crore, while margins expanded to 6.9% of NTV, compared with 5.2% in the corresponding quarter last year.
InstaHelp remained the company's largest investment area as it focused on expanding its quick home services offering. Orders on the platform rose 43% sequentially to 3.82 million, while NTV increased 32% quarter-on-quarter to ₹53 crore.
Management Commentary And Stock Price
Commenting on the performance, the company said the June quarter was one of its strongest, with broad-based growth across businesses, record profitability in its core operations and continued investments in newer growth initiatives aimed at building long-term leadership.
Urban Company added that its annual transacting user base grew around 21% to 8.2 million, while average spending per user increased about 7%, helping drive overall growth. Demand remained strong beyond major metropolitan cities as Tier-2 markets recorded a 36.2% NTV growth, outpacing the 28.7% growth seen across the top 10 cities.
At the close of the day on 31 July 2026, Urban Company's share price was ₹129.39 on the National Stock Exchange.
