Titagarh Rail Systems Q1 FY 2026-27: Profit Turns Positive, EBITDA Rises 26%

Titagarh Rail Systems returned to profit in Q1 FY27, with consolidated net profit at ₹52.6 crore against a loss a year earlier. Revenue rose 12.6% to ₹765 crore, while EBITDA grew 26.3% and the margin improved to 12.4%.
Titagarh Rail Systems began FY27 on a better note after the company moved back into profit in the June quarter. Revenue increased at a double-digit pace, while operating earnings grew faster and helped lift margins.
The Titagarh Rail Systems Q1 FY 2026-27 results showed a consolidated net profit of ₹52.6 crore, compared with a loss of ₹23.1 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations rose 12.6% to ₹765 crore from ₹679 crore a year earlier.

Operating Performance
The improvement in the quarter was more visible at the operating level. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased to ₹95 crore from ₹75.1 crore in the year-ago period, marking a 26.3% year-on-year rise.
With operating profit growing faster than revenue, the EBITDA margin expanded to 12.4% from 11.1% a year earlier.
Capital Raise Through Warrants
Titagarh Rail Systems also disclosed that there was no deviation in the use of funds raised through its preferential issue of convertible warrants during the June quarter. The company had raised ₹199.99 crore through the warrant issue.
Of this amount, ₹49.99 crore was received upfront. The remaining 75% of the issue proceeds will be payable when the warrants are converted into equity shares. The company said the funds were utilised in line with the stated purpose of the issue during the quarter ended 30 June 2026.
Titagarh Rail Systems Share Price
Titagarh Rail Systems shares ended Wednesday's session 1.33% lower at ₹833.55, while the Nifty 50 declined 0.15%.
The stock opened at ₹847.10 against the previous close of ₹844.80. During the session, it traded between ₹826 and ₹848.95.
Over the past year, the stock has moved between a 52-week low of ₹568.70 and a high of ₹971. On a year-on-year basis, Titagarh Rail Systems shares are up 1.78%.
