UltraTech Cement, Astral, Tata Motors, Abbott India, Sun TV, IRCON, Jubilant FoodWorks, Gujarat Pipavav Port and Lenskart Solutions will remain in focus amid earnings, block deals and regulatory developments.

Indian equities ended lower on Wednesday, with the Nifty 50 slipping 0.15% to 24,435.95 and the Sensex declining 0.24% to 77,966.35. Rising crude oil prices, uncertainty following the planned departure of Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrasekaran and caution ahead of inflation data weighed on sentiment.

UltraTech Cement

Pilani Investment and Industries Corporation, a promoter entity of UltraTech Cement, is expected to offload around 17 lakh shares, equivalent to 0.6% of the company's equity, through a block deal. The transaction is estimated at ₹1,909 crore, with the floor price fixed at ₹11,481 per share, around 3% below the prevailing market price.

Astral

Astral reported a 51.8% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to ₹120 crore in the first quarter of FY27, compared with ₹79 crore in the same period last year.

IRCON International

The state-owned engineering and construction company reported a 43.6% year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit to ₹92.74 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2026. The decline came despite an increase in revenue and operating profit.

Abbott India

Abbott India recorded a 17.12% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to ₹429 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with ₹366 crore in the year-ago period.

Tata Motors

Tata Motors' consolidated profit attributable to owners rose 83.3% year on year to ₹2,560 crore in the quarter ended 30 June 2026. Consolidated revenue from operations increased 19.3% to ₹20,667 crore from ₹17,324 crore.

Sun TV Network

Sun TV Network reported a 16.93% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to ₹618.8 crore for the first quarter of FY27. The broadcaster had posted a profit of ₹529.2 crore in the same quarter last year.

Jubilant FoodWorks

The Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration has suspended the FSSAI licences of five restaurant outlets operated by the company, including four Domino's Pizza outlets.

Gujarat Pipavav Port

The port operator posted a 41.8% year-on-year increase in net profit for the June quarter. The improvement was supported by higher revenue and stronger operating margins. Revenue climbed 32.6% to ₹331.7 crore from ₹250.1 crore in the year-ago quarter.

Lenskart Solutions

Lenskart Solutions reported a consolidated net profit of ₹222 crore for Q1 FY27, up sharply from ₹60 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
