Tata Power Company Ltd will announce its second-quarter financial results on 11 November 2026. The company has also entered into a partnership with Norway-based renewable energy technology firm Ocean Sun for a floating solar pilot project in Maharashtra. The 300-kWp project will be set up at Tata Power’s Mulshi reservoir.

Tata Power shares ended 1.79% lower at ₹345 on Wednesday. The company had a market capitalisation of around ₹1.10 lakh crore. The stock has fallen below its 5-day, 10-day, 20-day, 30-day, 50-day, 100-day, 150-day, and 200-day moving averages. Its 52-week high stands at ₹464.80, recorded on 28 April 2026.

At 9:30 AM on Thursday on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), Tata Power shares were trading at ₹340.95, down 1.22%.

Tata Power said its Board of Directors will meet on Wednesday, 11 November 2026, to consider the audited standalone financial results and the unaudited consolidated financial results for the quarter.

Under the partnership, Tata Power and Ocean Sun will test membrane-based floating solar technology at the Mulshi reservoir. The pilot will assess the technology’s performance, reliability, cost, and ability to scale under Indian conditions.

The project will also help Tata Power compare the technology with conventional floating solar systems. The pilot will look at how much power the system generates, how well it uses its capacity, and how long installation takes. Tata Power will also assess upkeep costs, investment requirements, and whether the technology makes commercial sense.

Floating solar could have a sizeable role in India’s renewable energy plans, given the country’s estimated potential for such projects. Estimates from the National Institute of Solar Energy put the country’s floating solar potential at more than 102 GWp. The Mulshi pilot is expected to provide operating data that could help assess the technology for larger deployments.
