Markets closed slightly higher after the RBI held rates steady. Cummins India, PB Fintech, Navin Fluorine, Bayer CropScience, Neuland Laboratories and several earnings-bound companies remain in focus today.

Indian equity benchmarks ended marginally higher on Wednesday after the Reserve Bank of India kept the repo rate unchanged at 5.25%, in line with market expectations. The BSE Sensex gained 0.19% to close at 78,581, while the Nifty 50 edged up 0.04% to 24,624.65.

Cummins India

The company delivered mixed June-quarter results. Standalone revenue increased 17.9% year-on-year to ₹3,426 crore, exceeding market expectations on strong domestic demand. However, net profit declined 7.9% to ₹543 crore, missing estimates as operating margins came under pressure.

Navin Fluorine International

Navin Fluorine International reported a strong improvement in June-quarter earnings. Consolidated net profit rose to ₹243.3 crore, compared with ₹117.2 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, reflecting robust profit growth.

PB Fintech

The parent company of Policybazaar and Paisabazaar reported a 92.4% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit for the June quarter. The growth was driven by continued momentum across its insurance and credit businesses.

JK Lakshmi Cement

JK Lakshmi Cement reported a weaker June-quarter performance. Net profit declined 28.1% year-on-year to ₹108 crore, compared with ₹150 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Bayer CropScience

Bayer CropScience posted a 15.4% year-on-year increase in June-quarter net profit. Higher operating margins and a one-off gain supported earnings, despite a decline in revenue during the quarter.

Neuland Laboratories

Neuland Laboratories delivered a strong set of results for the June quarter. Net profit surged to ₹148 crore, up from ₹14 crore a year earlier. Revenue from operations more than doubled to ₹641.5 crore, compared with ₹292.7 crore in the year-ago quarter.

SIS

Security services provider SIS reported a solid June-quarter performance. Consolidated net profit rose 9.4% year-on-year to ₹101.7 crore, while revenue increased 29.7% to ₹4,603.6 crore, supported by growth in both domestic and international operations.

Cohance Lifesciences

Cohance Lifesciences said it has received a Form 483 with five observations from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) following an inspection of its manufacturing facility in Hyderabad.

Aster DM Quality Care

Aster DM Quality Care reported a sharp decline in June-quarter net profit despite strong operating performance. Revenue from operations rose 21.6% year-on-year to ₹1,311 crore, driven by higher patient volumes and improved performance across its hospital network.
