Stocks To Watch On 04 August 2026: DLF, IREDA, LIC And More

Indian markets extended their winning streak on Monday. DLF, IREDA, LIC, Paytm, Torrent Power, Kansai Nerolac, Gulf Oil, GSK Pharma and GE Shipping are likely to remain in focus today, while several companies are scheduled to announce their Q1 FY27 results.
Indian equity benchmarks extended their winning streak on Monday, supported by easing crude oil prices, upbeat corporate earnings and sustained foreign investor inflows. The Nifty 50 climbed 1.6% to close at 24,774.30. The BSE Sensex gained 0.7% to 78,639.03.
Stocks In Focus
DLF
Real estate developer DLF reported a consolidated net profit of ₹793.9 crore for the first quarter of FY27, up 4.1% year-on-year from ₹762.7 crore. However, revenue from operations declined 52.9% to ₹1,280.3 crore, compared with ₹2,716.7 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA)
State-owned lender IREDA posted a 36.8% year-on-year rise in net profit for the June quarter, supported by continued growth in its lending business. Net profit increased to ₹337.5 crore from ₹246.7 crore a year earlier.
Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC)
The Government of India will divest up to a 6.5% stake in Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) through an Offer for Sale (OFS). The issue opens on 4 August, with a floor price of ₹382 per share.
Torrent Power
Torrent Power reported a mixed performance for the June quarter. Revenue increased modestly, while net profit declined 12.7% to ₹639 crore, compared with ₹731.4 crore in the year-ago period. Higher finance costs and disruptions in LNG supplies weighed on profitability.
One97 Communications (Paytm)
A block deal involving Paytm is expected to attract investor attention. Existing shareholder SAIF Partners is likely to sell a 2.3% stake in the fintech company. The transaction is estimated at around ₹2,002 crore, with a floor price of ₹1,339.65 per share, representing a 5% discount to the previous closing price.
Kansai Nerolac Paints
Kansai Nerolac Paints reported a nearly 5% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit for the June quarter, driven by healthy demand across its decorative and industrial coatings businesses. Revenue rose 9.8% to ₹2,374 crore, although higher raw material costs affected margins.
Gulf Oil Lubricants India
Gulf Oil Lubricants India reported a consolidated net profit of ₹123.1 crore, up 28.6% from ₹96 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations increased 30.6% year-on-year to ₹1,327 crore.
GSK Pharma
GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals reported a 15.7% year-on-year increase in net profit for the June quarter, aided by robust growth in its general medicines and vaccines businesses, along with stronger operating margins.
The Great Eastern Shipping Company
The Great Eastern Shipping Company (GE Shipping) reported a more than twofold increase in June-quarter net profit. Consolidated net profit rose to ₹1,309 crore from ₹505 crore a year earlier, supported by strong shipping operations and improved operating margins.
