Indian markets ended higher on easing oil prices and positive sentiment. TCS, Hindustan Zinc, BEL, Birla Corporation, Vodafone Idea, Info Edge and JSW Infrastructure announced key corporate developments.
Indian equity benchmarks ended higher on Monday, supported by easing crude oil prices, improving global sentiment and continued foreign investor inflows. The Sensex gained 291 points, or 0.38%, to close at 77,094.07, while the Nifty 50 advanced 89.8 points, or 0.37%, to settle at 24,102.90.

Birla Corporation
Birla Corporation said commercial coal production has commenced at its Bikram Coal Mine, located in Burhar, Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh, with effect from 22 June 2026.
TCS
India’s largest IT services exporter, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), has scheduled a board meeting for 9 July 2026 to review and approve its financial results for the quarter ended 30 June 2026.
Hindustan Zinc
Hindustan Zinc, part of the Vedanta Group, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Advantek Associates LLP and Aero Eagle Automobiles Pvt Ltd. The agreement aims to evaluate the use of green hydrogen and other clean energy technologies across the company’s operations.
Bharat Electronics
State-owned defence electronics manufacturer Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) disclosed that it has secured fresh orders worth ₹1,081 crore since its previous announcement on 25 May 2026. The contracts cover communication systems, radar equipment, CBRN protection solutions, seekers, avionics, upgrades, spares and associated services.
Info Edge
Info Edge (India) reported strong growth in its artificial intelligence-focused investment portfolio. The portfolio is now valued at ₹1,268 crore, compared with investments of ₹614 crore spread across 28 companies. The company stated that this represents a 2.1x return multiple and an estimated gross internal rate of return (IRR) of 31%.
Vodafone Idea
Vodafone Idea announced that its Capital Raising Committee has approved the allotment of 430 crore warrants through a preferential issue to Suryaja Investments Pte. Ltd., an entity belonging to the Aditya Birla Group and part of the promoter group.
GHV Infra Projects
GHV Infra Projects informed exchanges that it has received a work order worth approximately ₹213 crore, inclusive of GST, from GHV (India) Private Ltd. The contract involves civil, electrical, mechanical, signalling and telecommunications works.
JSW Infrastructure
JSW Infrastructure stated that its Finance Committee has approved the launch of a Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP) on 22 June 2026. The committee has fixed the floor price for the issue at ₹290.35 per equity share.
APAR Industries
APAR Industries announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, APAR Industries Middle East Ltd, KSA, has entered into an agreement with Saudi Aramco Base Oil Company.
Lemon Tree Hotels
Lemon Tree Hotels has signed a licence agreement for a new property in Janakpur, Nepal. The hotel will be operated by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, the company’s wholly owned subsidiary.
