Shriram Finance shares hit an 11-month low after the lender lowered its FY27 growth forecast.

Shriram Finance shares fell to an 11-month low after the lender lowered its FY27 AUM growth forecast. It also flagged higher credit costs. These concerns overshadowed a stronger-than-expected second-quarter profit.

Shriram Finance shares came under pressure on 26 October 2026. They reached an 11-month low after the company lowered its annual growth outlook and warned of rising credit costs.

The decline came despite a nearly 60% year-on-year (YoY) increase in second-quarter profit to ₹3,677 crore, above the estimate of ₹3,546 crore.

On Monday at 10:26 am, the Shriram Finance share price was ₹830, down 4.05% from the previous close of ₹865 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). The stock opened at ₹835 and touched a high of ₹836 and a low of ₹810.20.

During the session, Shriram Finance shares fell as much as 6.13%, touching an intraday low of ₹810.20 and heading towards an eighth consecutive session of losses. The stock has corrected 14% over the past month.

The company lowered its assets under management (AUM) growth forecast for financial year 2026-27 to 15-17%, from 18%. It cited weak monsoon conditions and geopolitical uncertainty, while warning that borrowers in drought-affected regions could face greater repayment pressure.

The company also faces concerns over higher credit costs, increased slippages and write-offs. These pressures reflected drought-like conditions in several states, although it assessed the lender’s overall asset quality as broadly stable.
