Samvardhana Motherson Q1 2026-27 Results: Samvardhana Motherson Ltd eported a strong set of earnings for the June quarter (Q1 FY27) on Thursday, August 6, aided by its highest-ever quarterly revenue.

The company's consolidated net profit rose 101.64 percent to Rs 1,032.05 crore for the June quarter of FY27, compared with Rs 511.84 crore in the same period a year ago, according to a regulatory filing.

At the operating level, EBITDA stood at Rs 2,950 crore, reflecting growth of 30.44 percent from Rs 2,262 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. EBITDA margin expanded to 8.37 percent from 7.49 percent a year earlier.

Samvardhana Motherson also announced the acquisition of Shenzhen Autocruis during the quarter.

Commenting on the results, Chairman Vivek Chaand Sehgal said the company's integrated D.E.M.A.L. (Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Assembly and Logistics) capabilities helped it begin FY27 on a strong note, delivering its highest-ever quarterly revenue, which he called a reflection of its diversified business model and continued customer trust. He said disciplined execution and cost optimisation drove resilient profitability despite input cost inflation and an evolving geopolitical environment.

Sehgal added that the company's balance sheet remains a core strength, with leverage at its lowest-ever level even as it continues to invest in organic growth, positioning it well to pursue strategic acquisitions in a dynamic global landscape. He said a robust order book keeps the company confident of delivering sustainable long-term growth and value for stakeholders.
