Q2 Results Today: India Inc's September-quarter earnings season gets underway on Thursday, October 8, with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) set to announce its Q2 FY27 results after market hours. GM Breweries and a clutch of smaller companies are also scheduled to report their quarterly numbers today.
TCS will remain the key earnings announcement of the day as the country's largest IT services company opens the Q2 results season for major corporates. Along with its financial results for the quarter and six months ended September 30, the TCS board will consider a second interim dividend for FY27. The company has fixed October 14 as the record date for the dividend, if declared.
GM Breweries, Onix Solar Energy, K&R Rail Engineering, Lotus Chocolate Company and Ind Bank Housing are among the other companies scheduled to report their September-quarter earnings on October 8.
TCS Q2 Results And Dividend Today
TCS is expected to announce its results after market hours, with revenue growth, margins, deal wins and demand trends likely to be among the key numbers tracked in the September quarter.
The IT major had reported revenue from operations of ₹72,275 crore in the June quarter, while net profit stood at ₹13,349 crore.
The board will also consider a second interim dividend. October 14 has been fixed as the record date to determine eligible shareholders if the dividend is approved.
TCS will be followed by several other companies over the coming days as the Q2 earnings calendar gathers pace. Anand Rathi Wealth, Poonawalla Fincorp, Can Fin Homes and Canara Robeco Asset Management Company are scheduled to announce their quarterly results on October 9.

Apart from TCS, GM Breweries is due to report its September-quarter financial performance on Thursday. The day's earnings calendar also includes Onix Solar Energy, K&R Rail Engineering, Lotus Chocolate Company and Ind Bank Housing.
The pace of corporate earnings announcements will pick up from here, with results from large IT companies and other major listed firms due over the next few weeks.
