Persistent Systems Q1 FY27 Results: Persistent Systems reported Q1 FY27 revenue of ₹4,303 crore, up 16.1% YoY. EBIT rose 32.7% YoY as record deal wins of $1.15 billion supported continued growth.
Persistent Systems reported revenue of ₹4,303 crore ($452.4 million) in Q1 FY27, a 16.1% increase from the year-ago quarter. The company also posted its highest-ever quarterly total contract value (TCV) of $1.15 billion, supported by large deal wins.
Revenue grew 3.8% over the previous quarter, while constant currency growth stood at 4.1% sequentially and 16.5% year-on-year. In rupee terms, revenue increased 29.1% YoY to ₹4,303 crore.
Operating performance also improved during the quarter. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) rose 32.7% YoY to ₹687 crore, with the margin improving to 16%. Profit before tax (PBT) came in at ₹623 crore, up 12.2% from a year ago, while profit after tax (PAT) increased 13.7% to ₹483 crore. However, both numbers were lower than the previous quarter due to foreign exchange losses.
Persistent Systems Q1 Results: Performance Highlights
Persistent recorded its 25th straight quarter of revenue growth in Q1 FY27. During the quarter, the company signed deals worth $1.15 billion in TCV, its highest-ever quarterly booking, while annual contract value (ACV) stood at $536.8 million. One of the biggest wins was a 6.5-year strategic services contract with a leading global technology company, with a TCV of more than $650 million.
The company also signed a Business Combination Agreement with Nagarro, a Europe-based digital engineering company. Persistent said the proposed transaction will help expand its capabilities, strengthen its presence in Europe and add to its industry expertise.
Management Commentary And Stock Price
Commenting on the results, CEO and Executive Director Sandeep Kalra said the company's performance was driven by sustained revenue growth, improving operating margins and record contract wins. He added that Persistent continues to invest in its AI capabilities through its 3C framework and AI-led platforms to help clients build intelligent enterprises.
Persistent Systems’ Q1 FY27 results were announced after market hours on 2 August. The stock's market reaction will be reflected in the next trading session on the NSE. At the close of the day on 31 July 2026, Persistent Systems’ share price was ₹5,549.0 on the National Stock Exchange.
