    Key stocks to watch include IOC, ITC, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, Blue Dart, NCC, Clean Max Enviro, Sterlite Technologies, APL Apollo Tubes and Powerica after earnings, orders and business developments.

    Indian benchmark indices ended trading day 31 July on a positive note, extending their recent gains. The Sensex rose 0.21% to 78,094.64. The Nifty 50 increased by 0.2%, supported by strong quarterly earnings and renewed foreign investor buying.

    Indian Oil Corporation (IOC)

    Indian Oil posted a standalone net loss of ₹2,661.3 crore for the June quarter, wider than analysts had anticipated.

    ITC

    ITC posted a standalone net profit of ₹3,578.8 crore for the June quarter, down 27.1% from the year-ago period. Revenue also declined 14.4% to ₹16,908 crore.

    Glenmark Pharmaceuticals

    Glenmark reported a sharp improvement in earnings, with consolidated net profit surging to ₹483 crore from ₹47 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

    Blue Dart Express

    Blue Dart Express posted an 81.2% year-on-year jump in first-quarter profit, driven by improved operating performance and higher revenue.

    NCC

    NCC secured three new orders worth ₹1,052.71 crore (excluding GST) across its Buildings and Water divisions.

    Clean Max Enviro

    Clean Max Enviro more than doubled its quarterly revenue to ₹832 crore and reported a ₹55 crore profit, compared with a loss in the same period last year. The company also reaffirmed its FY28 earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) guidance.

    Sterlite Technologies

    Sterlite Technologies signed a ₹960 crore multi-year agreement to supply optical fibre cables to a domestic telecom operator. The contract is initially valid for two years, with an option for extension.

    APL Apollo Tubes

    APL Apollo Tubes reported an 11% increase in Q1 net profit to ₹263 crore, while revenue rose 8.5% year-on-year.

    Powerica

    Powerica signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (GUVNL) to develop a 100 MW wind power project in Gujarat.
