NCC has secured a ₹1,286.03 crore Telangana road construction contract from Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited.

NCC Limited has received a Letter of Acceptance from Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited for a ₹1,286.03 crore road construction project in Telangana. The contract value excludes Goods and Services Tax (GST).

The contract covers Radial Road-2, connecting the Outer Ring Road near Budwel to Nacharam on National Highway 167N. The awarded package covers the stretch from Budwel to Shabad. NCC has been given 18 months to complete the construction work.

The NCC share price closed at ₹119.93 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on 8 October 2026, down 5.48% from the previous close. The NCC order adds to the infrastructure contractor’s recent project wins.

The shares rallied after the announcement. On 09 October 2026, the shares opened at ₹125 and were trading at ₹123.96, up 3.36% on the NSE at 10:03 am.

NCC had secured another major contract in September, worth ₹1,076.71 crore, from the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Department in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

That project involves providing drinking water under the Multi Village Scheme using the Yeleru Reservoir for the Anakapalli segment. It carries a 24-month execution timeline.

The two contracts cover different infrastructure needs: the latest Telangana award is for road construction, while the earlier Andhra Pradesh project concerns drinking water supply.

The company’s filing also states that the promoters, promoter group and group companies have no interest in the awarding entity, and the contract is not a related-party transaction.

NCC is a Hyderabad-based construction and infrastructure company. Its operations span industrial and commercial buildings, housing, roads, bridges, flyovers, water supply and environmental projects, mining, power transmission, irrigation and power projects.

Its diversified project portfolio gives it exposure to several areas of public infrastructure development, including transport connectivity and water supply systems.
