MobiKwik Q2 FY27 Results: Record Profit Of ₹11.8 Crore; Shares Gain As Payments GMV Jumps 35% YoY

One MobiKwik Systems delivered a record quarterly performance in Q2 FY27. Payments and lending supplied much of the momentum. Improved margins and sharper operating discipline further strengthened the showing.
One MobiKwik Systems Limited recorded an uptick in profitability and operating performance for the quarter ended 30 September 2026. Neither business segment was left out. Its payments and financial services operations both registered improvement, aided by increased transaction volumes and healthier margins.
Merchant payments gathered pace. Lending disbursements also increased, giving the company further room to expand its operations. Better collections and tighter operating efficiency added to the improvement.
There was another milestone. MobiKwik recorded its fourth straight profitable quarter. Both quarterly profit after tax (PAT) and earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) touched their highest levels yet.

Payments And Financial Services Expand Their Contribution
Higher consumer spending and merchant activity lent momentum to MobiKwik's payments business. Consumer payments GMV climbed 27% year-on-year. The segment's gross margin also widened, reaching 38.2% against 29.4% earlier.
The financial services business made headway as well. Credit partner assets under management stood at ₹1,488 crore, while the number of activated credit users rose to 1.74 million. There was a sharp improvement in profitability, too. Gross profit from financial services more than doubled to ₹57.1 crore.
The company attributed the improvement in financial services margins partly to better credit quality. Its lending operations continued to focus on collections, risk management and measured expansion.
MobiKwik Pushes Towards AI-First Operations
MobiKwik is working towards becoming an AI-first organisation by FY28, integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into engineering, customer experience, lending and risk management.
AI is now responsible for 92% of the company’s software code. That marks a rise from 80% in the preceding quarter.
Customer support is seeing substantial AI involvement, too. The company’s Help large language model (LLM) resolves 91% of incoming queries. Fraud detection has also been reinforced, with AI-led pattern identification now deployed across operations.
Collections have entered the picture as well. Its platform facilitates 55% of early collections and has helped improve collection rates by 33%.
The broader objective is clear: better productivity, stronger customer assistance and tighter fraud prevention as the business scales up.
