Metro Brands Q2 FY27 Results: Consolidated Revenue Rises 12.2% To ₹730 Crore As Net Profit Increases To ₹77 Crore

Metro Brands reported 12.0% year-on-year growth in consolidated net profit to ₹77 crore in Q2 FY27, while revenue increased 12.2% to ₹730 crore. First-half profit rose 2.8%.
Metro Brands Limited reported consolidated revenue from operations of ₹730 crore in Q2 FY27, compared with ₹651 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Consolidated net profit increased to ₹77 crore from ₹69 crore, according to the company's earnings presentation dated 15 October 2026.
Consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) grew 15.8% to ₹198 crore from ₹171 crore. The company attributed the quarter's modest growth partly to a shift in the festive calendar, with a larger share of demand moving into Q3.
The Metro Brands Bank share price closed at ₹898.55 on 15 October 2026 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
How Did Metro Brands Perform in H1 FY27?
Metro Brands reported a 13.4% year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue from operations to ₹1,451 crore in the first half of FY27, compared with ₹1,279 crore in the same period last year. Consolidated EBITDA rose 12.9% to ₹413 crore from ₹366 crore.
However, net profit grew at a slower pace. Consolidated profit after tax (PAT) increased 2.8% to ₹173 crore from ₹168 crore in H1 FY26. The EBITDA margin remained broadly stable at 28.5%, compared with 28.6% a year earlier, while the PAT margin declined to 11.9% from 13.1%.
The company said first-half growth was affected by a shift in the festive calendar, with a larger share of consumer demand moving into Q3. Metro Brands also continued to invest in talent and brands, while higher front-end staff costs following minimum wage revisions and a modest increase in occupancy costs added pressure on margins. Lower treasury income compared with the previous year also affected profit growth.
What Drove Store Expansion and E-Commerce Growth?
Metro Brands opened 21 new stores during Q2 FY27, while nine stores closed. Across H1 FY27, it opened 34 stores and closed 13. Its total network reached 1,053 stores across 223 cities and 31 states and Union Territories as of September 2026.
The network includes Metro, Mochi, Walkway, Crocs, FitFlop, Fila, Foot Locker, New Era and MetroActiv. Metro Brands also crossed ₹3,000 crore in gross sales, as highlighted in its company overview.
E-commerce sales, including omnichannel transactions, grew 12% in Q2 FY27 and contributed 14.2% of revenue. In the 6-month period, e-commerce sales increased 11% and accounted for 13.6% of revenue.
