Marico Q1 2026-27 Results: Net Profit Jumps 27% To ₹652 Crore, Revenue Up 23%
Marico reported strong Q1 FY27 results with net profit up 27%, revenue rising 23%.

Marico Q1 FY 2026-27 Results: Marico reported 23% growth in revenue to ₹3,957 crore. EBITDA and PAT both increased 25% as India volumes hit a 20-quarter high and international business remained strong.

Marico's consolidated revenue from operations increased 23% year-on-year to ₹3,957 crore. EBITDA, or earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation, increased 25% to ₹819 crore, while profit after tax (PAT) also rose 25% to ₹630 crore. This was the company's highest quarterly profit growth in the last 28 quarters. EBITDA margin also improved by 40 basis points to 20.7%.

The performance was supported by 11% volume growth in the India business, the highest in 20 quarters, and 15% constant currency growth in the international business. Gross margin improved by 30 basis points as lower copra prices and a favourable product mix helped offset higher brand investments.

Marico's India business reported revenue of ₹3,003 crore, up 21% year-on-year. The company said more than 96% of its portfolio either gained or maintained market share during the quarter, while over 99% sustained or improved penetration. Traditional and organised retail channels posted double-digit growth, and quick commerce continued to expand rapidly with more than 50% growth.

Advertising and promotion spending increased 25% during the quarter as the company continued investing behind its brands. But even with higher expenses, strong growth in sales and a better margin realisation supported overall profitability.

Parachute Rigids recorded a 10% growth in volume. Value-Added Hair Oils continued to perform well with 22% value growth. Saffola Edible Oils grew 7% despite the company reducing supplies of select variants to protect profitability. The Foods portfolio grew by 43% and crossed an annualised revenue run rate of more than ₹1,300 crore, driven by strong demand for Soya Chunks, Oats and Muesli.

Premium Personal Care also delivered healthy growth with its annualised revenue run rate at around ₹450 crore. Following the launch of its Protein Shampoo, Marico has extended the range with the launch of Parachute Advansed Protein Hair Conditioner. The Digital-First portfolio, led by Beardo and Plix, continued to grow on the back of healthy consumer demand.

Managing Director and CEO, Saugata Gupta, said the company's performance reflected the strength of its core brands, premium and digital businesses, and diversified international portfolio. He added that Marico remains on track to deliver its full-year growth targets and continue executing its Vision 2030 strategy.

At the close of trading on 4 August 2026, Marico’s share price was ₹875 on the National Stock Exchange.
