LG Electronics India Q2 FY 2026-27 Results: Net Profit Rises 25.7% YoY To ₹4.89 Billion, Revenue Up 19.5%; Shares Rally
LG Electronics India shares gained as Q2 FY27 revenue rose 19.5% and profit after tax increased 25.7% YoY.

LG Electronics India shares rose over 6.5% on 5 November after Q2 FY27 revenue increased 19.5% YoY to ₹73.80 billion, PAT rose 25.7% to ₹4.89 billion and EBITDA grew 28% to ₹7.01 billion.

LG Electronics India reported a 25.7% year-on-year (YoY) increase in profit after tax (PAT) to ₹4.89 billion for Q2 FY27. Revenue from operations rose 19.5% to ₹73.80 billion, while EBITDA grew 28% to ₹7.01 billion. The company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) margin expanded 63 basis points to 9.5%, despite higher commodity prices, rupee depreciation and investments ahead of the festive season.

The September quarter marked the company’s second consecutive quarter of double-digit growth. For the first half of FY27, revenue was up 17.5% to ₹146.13 billion, and PAT climbed 26.5% to ₹11.42 billion.

LG Electronics share price (India) was trading at ₹1,809.20 on 5 November 2026, up 6.92% as of 12:27 pm IST after the LG Electronics results announcement.

The Home Appliances and Air Solution (H&A) segment recorded revenue of ₹47.72 billion, up 20.9% YoY. Washing machines, refrigerators and room air conditioners posted strong double-digit growth, while dishwashers saw what the company described as breakout growth. Segment EBIT increased 28.4% to ₹4.16 billion, and its margin improved to 8.7% from 8.2% in Q2 FY26.

The company attributed the segment’s performance to growth across mass-market and premium products. Its LG Essential Series range was expanded, while new Chest Freezers and French Door Refrigerators were added to the portfolio. Operating leverage from higher volumes more than offset the impact of commodity costs, currency movements on imports and festive-season market investments.

Home Entertainment (HE) revenue grew 17.2% YoY to ₹26.08 billion, marking its third consecutive quarter of double-digit growth. Television sales led the segment, with the company reporting an all-time high in offline television market share. Its B2B Information Display business also recorded strong growth.

Segment EBIT rose 19.9% YoY to ₹3.37 billion, while the margin expanded to 12.9% from 12.6% a year earlier. Higher panel costs, currency impact on imports and festive-season investments were offset by operating leverage and improved profitability in the B2B business.

LG Electronics India is entering the automotive market through its new Vehicle Solutions business, beginning with In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI). The initiative will bring LG Korea’s automotive infotainment and telematics solutions to India, with products to be manufactured and supplied from the company’s third plant at Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. The move adds a new B2B vertical to its existing businesses.

The Sri City facility is expected to begin operations in Q3 FY27 with compressor manufacturing. The company said this would increase localisation and add capacity to serve domestic and export demand.

For the festive and wedding season, the company has expanded its television range with Mini LED models alongside its large-screen, QNED and OLED televisions. It expects energy-efficient air conditioners to support growth, while French Door refrigerators and dishwashers are expected to benefit from demand for premium, energy-efficient and larger-capacity appliances. The B2B business is also expected to contribute to margins.

LG Electronics India reaffirmed its FY27 targets of mid-teen revenue growth and an early double-digit EBITDA margin. It said commodity prices and currency movements remain key monitorables, with their impact being managed through localisation, calibrated pricing and operational efficiency.
