Jaykay Enterprises Invests ₹25 Crore In JK Defence & Aerospace Through Rights Issue To Expand Defence And Aerospace Manufacturing Capabilities
Jaykay Enterprises invests ₹25 crore in defence subsidiary JK Defence & Aerospace.

Jaykay Enterprises has invested ₹25 crore in its wholly owned subsidiary JK Defence & Aerospace through a rights issue. This takes its total paid-up ownership in the subsidiary to 100%.

Jaykay Enterprises Limited has acquired 25 lakh additional preference shares in its wholly owned subsidiary, JK Defence & Aerospace Limited, for ₹25 crore through a rights issue.

The acquisition was completed on 5 October 2026, as per the filing with the exchanges. The preference shares have a face value of ₹100 each, with the consideration paid entirely in cash. The investment will utilise proceeds from Jaykay Enterprises’ recent rights issue, with JK Defence using the funds in line with the objects specified in the Letter of Offer.

On 5 October, the Jaykay Enterprises share price ended at ₹221.97 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), up 10.18% from the previous close.

JK Defence & Aerospace is a wholly owned subsidiary of Jaykay Enterprises. It operates in the defence and aerospace sector. The subsidiary was incorporated on 3 July 2023 and has yet to commence operations. The NSE filing reported zero turnover for it.

It aims to manufacture and trade products related to defence and aerospace equipment. The investment is intended to support the subsidiary's planned activities.

Jaykay Enterprises continues to hold 100% of the paid-up share capital of JK Defence & Aerospace. The acquisition of the additional 25 lakh preference shares does not change the company's ultimate ownership in the subsidiary.

Jaykay Enterprises is a high-precision manufacturing company operating across Defence, Aerospace, SpaceTech and MedTech. Its capabilities include computer numerical control (CNC) machining, additive manufacturing, prototyping and composite engineering. The company also provides precision components, subsystems and systems for aerospace and defence programmes.

JK Defence & Aerospace is focused specifically on defence and aerospace equipment manufacturing and trading. Its proposed activities complement Jaykay Enterprises’ existing precision-engineering capabilities and are intended to build a dedicated defence and aerospace manufacturing business.
