InterGlobe Aviation Limited (IndiGo) reported a consolidated loss of ₹2,536.9 crore in Q4 FY26. Even after an increase in revenue, losses due to foreign exchange and other costs negated its operational performance.

Total income rose 2.3% year-on-year to ₹23,097.3 crore from ₹22,579.0 crore.

IndiGo’s Performance in Q4 FY26
Despite higher revenue, profitability came under pressure during the quarter.
The airline reported a consolidated net loss of ₹2,536.9 crore in Q4 FY26 compared with a profit of ₹3,067.5 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The company said that excluding foreign exchange impact and exceptional items, profit for the quarter would have been ₹1,920.6 crore. It was still 35.6% less compared with ₹2,981.1 crore in Q4 FY25.
Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, Amortization, and Rent (EBITDAR) fell 67.9% year-on-year to ₹2,227.8 crore from ₹6,948.2 crore. EBITDAR margin also reduced sharply to 9.9% from 31.4% a year ago.
Operationally, IndiGo continued to expand capacity. Available Seat Kilometres (ASK) increased 3.4% year-on-year to 43.6 billion. However, passenger traffic declined 1.1% to 3.16 crore passengers from 3.20 crore a year ago.
A major pressure on earnings was the foreign exchange loss, which increased to ₹4,881.6 crore during the quarter compared with ₹1,116.9 crore a year earlier. The company also recorded an exceptional charge of ₹249.7 crore related to the implementation of new labour codes.
Full-FY26 Summary
