HUDCO Gains Around 2% On Bihar MoU, Hexaware Falls Nearly 3% After CEO Exit, Power Grid Rises

HUDCO rises nearly 2% after signing a ₹25,000 crore Bihar funding pact, while Power Grid gains after receiving a Letter of Intent for a ₹3,244.33 crore annual transmission project. Hexaware Technologies fell nearly 3% after announcing a CEO transition.
The Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Bihar government to provide financial assistance over five years.
Hexaware Technologies has announced the exit of its current Chief Executive Officer (CEO), with Vivek Jetley set to take over as the company’s new CEO designate.
The two developments have put HUDCO and Hexaware Technologies shares in focus during Thursday’s trading session.
Meanwhile, Power Grid Corporation of India shares rose after the company received a letter of intent (LoI) for an interstate transmission system project to evacuate power from Rajasthan Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) Phase-IV. The project will be developed on a build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) basis, with Power Grid quoting annual transmission charges of ₹3,244.33 crore.
The Power Grid share price on 03 September 2026 was ₹267.70 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) at 10:57 am. It opened at ₹269.90 against the previous close of ₹266.80.
HUDCO’s Bihar MoU Covers Industrial Infrastructure
The maximum financial assistance HUDCO has agreed to provide to the Bihar government over five years is ₹25,000 crore. The funding is intended for industrial infrastructure development, including land acquisition for projects.
As of 10:53 am on 3 September 2026, HUDCO shares were trading at ₹182.87 on the NSE, up 2.53% from the previous close of ₹178.35. The HUDCO share price today opened at ₹181.82 and touched an intraday high of ₹184.69 in early trade.
Hexaware Technologies Announces CEO Transition
Vivek Jetley will take over as CEO of Hexaware Technologies on 28 October 2026. The current CEO, Srikrishna Ramakarthikeyan, will step down from the CEO and board roles on the same date.
Ramakarthikeyan will continue with the company as a senior adviser to support the transition. The leadership change comes as the information technology services company prepares for a change at the top of its management.
The development has weighed on the Hexaware share price during Thursday’s session. At 10:55 am on 03 September 2026, the Hexaware Technologies share price stood at ₹522.05, down 3.94% from the previous close of ₹543.60. The stock opened at ₹538 on the NSE and also recorded an intraday high of ₹538.
