HFCL Share Price: Stock Jumps 5% As FY26 Order Book Doubles; Profit Surges 90%
HFCL shares jump nearly 5% as its FY26 order book doubles and profit surges 90%.

There was a sharp move in HFCL on Monday, with shares gaining nearly 5%. The company has reported a significant expansion in its FY26 order book, along with strong financial growth. A new ₹2,329 crore export order added further weight to the growth outlook

HFCL share price moved higher on Monday after the telecom equipment and optical fibre cable maker submitted its annual report for FY26. The report highlighted a sharp increase in the company's order book, alongside strong growth across key financial parameters.

HFCL's FY26 order book stood at ₹21,206 crore, up 113% year-on-year. The sharp increase points to stronger business visibility across its core segments and provides a sizeable revenue pipeline for the company.

The HFCL share rose 5% to ₹243.01 at 12:14 pm IST during Monday's trading session. The stock has gained around 17% over the past month and is trading below its 52-week high of ₹256.70.

Financial performance also improved significantly during the year.

HFCL's profitability improved at a faster pace than revenue during FY26. Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization(EBITDA) growth of 63.15% significantly outpaced the 21.77% increase in revenue, while profit nearly doubled.

The company's Return on Capital Employed(ROCE) rose to 11.04%, reflecting improved capital efficiency. At the same time, its debt-equity ratio remained at 0.35, indicating relatively controlled leverage.

Another boost came through for HFCL on 1 September. The company secured a $244 million export order, equivalent to approximately ₹2,329 crore, from a global multinational corporation.

The deal covers optical fibre cable supplies. More importantly, it adds to HFCL's international business pipeline. The existing order book gets another layer of support, too, giving the company better visibility for future revenue.
