Fujiyama Power Systems Share Price Jumps 5% To Record High Of Rs 431.25 After Q1 FY 2026-27 Results

Fujiyama Power Systems shares hit a fresh record high of Rs 431.25, up nearly 5%, after the company reported sharp revenue and EBITDA growth in Q1 FY27 despite a one-time exceptional charge denting profit.
Shares of the newly listed stock Fujiyama Power Systems climbed to a fresh all-time high on Friday, 14 August, even as the broader market struggled to find its footing. The stock touched Rs 431.25 on the BSE, a gain of nearly 5% from its previous close, marking its second straight session of gains. The counter opened at Rs 411.10 against Thursday's close of Rs 410.40 before extending the rally through the session. The move stood out against a subdued Sensex, which slipped 0.50% on the day, according to CNBC-TV18.
The rally comes on the back of the company's numbers for the June quarter of FY27, released a day earlier on 13 August.
Q1 FY 2026-27 Results at a Glance
Fujiyama Power reported a net profit of Rs 57.8 crore for the quarter, a decline of 14.5% from a year earlier and 45.6% lower than the preceding quarter. The dip in earnings came largely from a one-time exceptional charge of Rs 107.4 crore, set aside as a provision linked to the fire at the company's Bawal facility.
Revenue told a different story. Operating revenue for the quarter came in at Rs 1,345.7 crore, up a sharp 125.3% from the same period last year and 49.4% higher sequentially. EBITDA rose in tandem, climbing 140.6% year-on-year and 48.6% quarter-on-quarter to Rs 254.8 crore. Margins improved to 18.9%, compared with 17.7% a year ago, though slightly below the 19% recorded in the previous quarter.
Chairman and Joint Managing Director Pawan Kumar Garg attributed the stronger show to scale and integration. He said the improvement in profitability came on the back of higher operational scale and rising contribution from the company's backward integrated manufacturing base, adding that the quarter reflected the expanding reach of Fujiyama's products and its ability to meet growing demand across core markets.
The stock's journey since listing has been eventful. Fujiyama Power made its market debut on 20 November last year. From its issue price of Rs 228, the stock has now gained 89% to reach Wednesday's high. That climb has not been in a straight line: the shares fell to a record low of Rs 170.55 on 2 March this year before staging a recovery. Every month since March has closed higher than the last, and the stock is already up 11% in August alone.
