DMart Q2 FY27 Revenue Rises 18.4% To ₹19,206 Crore

Avenue Supermarts reported 18.4% growth in standalone revenue to ₹19,206.18 crore in Q2 FY27, while its DMart store network increased to 518 outlets.
Avenue Supermarts, which operates the DMart retail chain, reported standalone revenue from operations of ₹19,206.18 crore for the quarter ended 30 September 2026, up 18.4% from ₹16,218.79 crore a year earlier.
The September-quarter update shows a stronger pace of revenue growth than the previous quarter, alongside continued expansion of the company's physical store network.
On 1 October, the DMart share price settled at ₹3,813.00 on the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE).
How Did Avenue Supermarts Perform In Q2 FY27?
Standalone revenue from operations increased by ₹2,987.39 crore from the year-ago quarter. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, revenue was also higher, rising 4.7% from ₹18,343.49 crore in Q1 FY27.
The Q2 figure marks a stronger sequential performance than the June quarter, when revenue growth was 15.1% year-on-year. The company’s latest update, however, does not provide quarterly profit figures, which will form part of the detailed financial results.
How Has The DMart Store Network Expanded?
Avenue Supermarts had 518 stores as of 30 September 2026, compared with 503 stores at the end of June. One of the 518 outlets is the Sanpada store in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, which is currently closed to customers for reconstruction. The company said the reported Q2 revenue remains subject to limited review by its statutory auditors.
The latest business update combines higher revenue with continued additions to the store network. The company’s Q2 performance also comes after a decent first quarter, when standalone revenue had risen 15.1% YoY, and net profit had increased by 11.3%.
The Q2 update does not include detailed profitability or same-store sales figures, so those metrics will need to be assessed when Avenue Supermarts reports its full financial results.
