AU Small Finance Bank Q2 FY27: Deposits Rise 29% To ₹1.70 Lakh Crore
AU Small Finance Bank deposits jump 28.6% to ₹1.70 lakh crore in Q2.

AU Small Finance Bank reported 28.6% year-on-year growth in total deposits to ₹1.70 lakh crore in Q2 FY27. The bank’s gross loan portfolio increased 25.1% to ₹1.54 lakh crore.

AU Small Finance Bank reported strong growth in its deposit base during the quarter ended 30 September 2026, with total deposits rising 28.6% year-on-year to ₹1,70,460 crore from ₹1,32,509 crore a year earlier.

The bank’s gross loan portfolio also expanded during the quarter, while its current account and savings account (CASA) deposits recorded a faster pace of growth compared with the overall deposit base.

On 1 October, the AU Bank share price closed at ₹987 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), down 2.31% from the previous close.

AU Small Finance Bank’s deposits stood at ₹1,70,460 crore at the end of September, up 8.1% sequentially from ₹1,57,727 crore at the end of June 2026.

CASA deposits increased 29.1% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹50,290 crore from ₹38,963 crore. On a quarterly basis, CASA deposits rose 10.8% from ₹45,399 crore. The CASA ratio was 29.5%, compared with 29.4% a year earlier and 28.8% at the end of the previous quarter.

Gross advances increased 27.9% YoY to ₹1,50,290 crore as of 30 September, compared with ₹1,17,525 crore a year earlier. The figure was also 7% higher than ₹1,40,461 crore recorded at the end of June.

After including the securitised, assigned portfolio and IBPC component of ₹3,480 crore, the bank’s gross loan portfolio stood at ₹1,53,770 crore. This was 25.1% higher than ₹1,22,877 crore a year earlier and 6.6% above the June figure of ₹1,44,250 crore.

However, all the numbers are provisional and were released ahead of the official Q2 FY27 financial results. The filing with the exchanges states that they remain subject to review and approval by the Audit Committee, Board of Directors and statutory auditors.
