Apollo Hospitals Results Q1 FY 2026-27: Revenue Up 21%, PAT Rises To ₹581 Crore

Apollo Hospitals reported consolidated revenue of ₹7,043 crore in Q1 FY27, while PAT increased to ₹581 crore from ₹433 crore a year earlier. EBITDA rose 28% to ₹1,092 crore. The company also plans to add more than 5,800 beds over the next five years.
Apollo Hospitals started FY27 with higher revenue and profit. Consolidated revenue stood at ₹7,043 crore in Q1 FY27. It was ₹5,842 crore in the same quarter last year, a 21% year-on-year (YoY) increase.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) came in at ₹1,092 crore in Q1 FY27. Profit after tax (PAT) was ₹581 crore, against ₹433 crore in Q1 FY26.
Apollo Hospitals Results: How Did Q1 FY27 Perform?
Healthcare Services: Revenue came in at ₹3,567 crore in Q1 FY27, up from ₹2,935 crore in Q1 FY26. This translates to 22% YoY growth. EBITDA was ₹862 crore, compared with ₹718 crore a year earlier, with an EBITDA margin of 24%. PAT stood at ₹480 crore, compared with ₹384 crore in Q1 FY26, up 25% YoY.
Apollo HealthCo: The business posted revenue of ₹2,977 crore, compared with ₹2,472 crore in Q1 FY26. Revenue was up 20% YoY. EBITDA rose to ₹171 crore from ₹94 crore, while the margin was 6%. PAT increased to ₹101 crore from ₹57 crore a year earlier.
Apollo Health and Lifestyle: Revenue increased 15% YoY to ₹499 crore, against ₹435 crore in Q1 FY26. EBITDA rose to ₹59 crore from ₹40 crore, with a 12% margin. The business reported a PAT loss of ₹1 crore, narrower than the ₹8 crore loss a year earlier.
The Apollo Hospitals Enterprise share price closed at ₹8,597 on 12 August 2026, down 1.75% from the previous close of ₹8,750.50. The company released its Q1 FY27 results after market hours.
What Drove Apollo Hospitals' Q1 Growth?
Apollo said the hospital business benefited from higher inpatient volumes, average revenue per patient and occupancy. The regional network also recorded growth across key markets.
Revenue in Tamil Nadu rose 16%, while revenue in AP-Telangana grew 31%. Revenue in Karnataka increased 21%, Eastern markets grew 20%, and the Northern region recorded 16% growth. Western markets recorded a 28% rise.
Offline pharmacy distribution revenue stood at ₹2,629 crore and digital platform revenue at ₹348 crore. Apollo 24/7 GMV was ₹535 crore, up 23% year-on-year. The pharmacy, diagnostics and consultation network added 151 net new stores during the quarter, taking the total to 7,440 stores.
What Did Apollo Hospitals Highlight On Expansion And New Initiatives?
Apollo commissioned its 180-bed Sarjapur hospital in Bengaluru during Q1 FY27, while the Gurugram facility is slated for commissioning in Q3 FY27. The newer hospitals reported an EBITDA loss of ₹38 crore during the quarter.
The company also plans to add more than 5,800 beds over the next five years. Expansion plans include four new hospitals in Indore, Dwarka and Ranchi, along with the Delhi Proton Centre, together accounting for 1,200 beds. Apollo also plans to add 148 beds through expansions at its Indore and Guwahati facilities.
International patient services revenue grew 26% year-on-year during the quarter.
The company also said Apollo Cancer Centres became the first in India to launch Guardant Health's Shield Multi-Cancer Detection Test. Separately, Apollo signed an MoU with ePlane Company to explore electric air ambulances and medical delivery drones for emergency healthcare.
During the quarter, Apollo Hospitals reported several clinical milestones, including India's first native transcatheter tricuspid valve replacement and India's first reported robotic Whipple procedure in a patient with intestinal nonrotation and periampullary cancer.
