Aastha Spintex Share Price Jumps Over 7% As 1:1 Bonus Issue Record Date Arrives
Aastha Spintex shares rise over 7% as the company’s 1:1 bonus issue reaches its 28 September record date.

Aastha Spintex shares rose more than 7% on Monday as the company’s 1:1 bonus issue reached its record date. Investors holding the stock by the required deadline will receive one bonus share for every share held. The stock, however, remains significantly below its listing price.

Aastha Spintex shares gained more than 7% on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) during Monday’s session, even as the broader stock market came under pressure. The rally came as 28 September marked the record date for the textile company’s 1:1 bonus issue.

The company had announced the bonus issue on 16 September. Under the plan, eligible shareholders will receive one additional fully paid-up equity share for every one existing share held.

The bonus issue is the company’s first such announcement and comes within roughly three months of its stock market debut. Aastha Spintex’s mainboard IPO was valued at ₹170 crore and consisted entirely of a fresh issue.

Aastha Spintex Share Price Movement

The stock opened at ₹37, compared with Friday’s close of ₹36.37. It subsequently climbed to an intraday high of ₹39.21, marking a gain of more than 7% from the previous close. At 10:46 am IST on 28 September 2026, Aastha Spintex shares were trading at ₹38.70, up 6.44% on the NSE.

The record date determines which shareholders qualify for the bonus shares. Investors need to hold the stock within the applicable settlement timeline, with shares required to be in their demat accounts by the end of trading on Friday.

Those purchasing Aastha Spintex shares on Monday are therefore not eligible for the bonus issue.

  • Ratio: 1:1

  • Record date: 28 September

  • Face value: ₹10 per share

  • Bonus entitlement: One new share for every one existing share

Aastha Spintex made a weak stock market debut, listing 4.4% below its IPO issue price of ₹136 per share. Since then, its performance has varied considerably across different time periods.

The latest rise comes against that longer-term decline, with the stock still down 43.41% since listing.
