UBS Acquires 4.8% Stake In 360 ONE WAM For Over $200 Million After Converting 20.5 Million Warrants
UBS secures a 4.8% stake in 360 ONE WAM after converting 20.5 million warrants in a deal valued above $200 million.

UBS has strengthened its partnership with 360 ONE WAM through a stake acquisition valued at more than $200 million. The investment gives UBS a 4.8% holding in the Indian wealth manager, following the conversion of 20.5 million warrants into equity shares. The partnership dates back to 2025. The arrangement followed the transfer of UBS’s onshore wealth management business in India to 360 ONE, alongside the movement of client assets and relationship managers.

Swiss banking major UBS has acquired a 4.8% stake in Mumbai-based wealth manager 360 ONE WAM after exercising all 20.5 million warrants allotted to it in July 2025. The transaction was confirmed by the bank on Thursday, 22 October 2026, marking another milestone in the companies’ strategic partnership.

UBS paid the outstanding amount required to convert the warrants into an equivalent number of equity shares. The bank had already paid a quarter of the exercise price when the warrants were issued, with the balance settled to complete the transaction.

The holding was valued at more than $200 million based on Wednesday’s closing share price. The conversion gives UBS an equity interest in the Indian wealth manager under the terms of their earlier agreement.

360 ONE WAM shares rose 0.87% to close at ₹1,047 on 22 October 2026, gaining ₹9 during the session. The movement came as UBS completed the conversion of 20.5 million warrants into equity shares, securing a 4.8% stake in the wealth manager in a deal valued at more than $200 million. The stock touched an intraday high of ₹1,053.80 and a low of ₹1,024.60.

The deal traces back to an agreement announced in April 2025, when UBS agreed to sell its onshore wealth management business in India to 360 ONE for around $32 million. Under the arrangement, the Swiss bank received warrants that could give it an ownership stake of up to 4.95% in the Indian

The business transfer agreements involving UBS and Credit Suisse were completed in September 2025. The transaction also enabled 360 ONE to absorb approximately $3 billion in client assets and bring across 10 relationship managers from UBS.

Under the wider arrangement, UBS took responsibility for servicing 360 ONE’s clients in Singapore, subject to regulatory approvals.

360 ONE is among India’s largest independent wealth management firms, with approximately $82 billion in wealth assets under management as of September 2026.

The company is seeking to expand its presence among ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNIs). Co-founder Yatin Shah said in August that the firm held nearly 10% of India’s UHNI market, with an ambition to increase that share to between 12% and 13%.
