Adani Group has projects worth ₹2.6 lakh crore either completed or under execution in Maharashtra, according to Pranav Adani, Director of Adani Enterprises, as the state launched its investment promotion body, Invest Maharashtra.

The group’s overall investment blueprint for Maharashtra exceeds ₹6 lakh crore and covers energy, aviation, aero-districts, urban regeneration, data centres and coal gasification.

At the close of trading on 1 October, the Adani Enterprises share price was ₹2,816.80 on the NSE, down 2.98% from the previous close.

The group’s projects in Maharashtra span several infrastructure and energy segments. These include airports, power supply, transmission, data centres, green power infrastructure and urban redevelopment.

Among the projects highlighted were the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, which the group manages, and the greenfield Navi Mumbai International Airport. The latter is eventually expected to handle more than 90 million passengers annually.

Adani Electricity Mumbai supplies power to more than 3 million homes and establishments across Mumbai. More than 60% of its current power supply comes from renewable sources, with the company targeting a share of 70% and beyond.

The group is also operating a 1,000 MW High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission link to bring green power into Mumbai. Its pumped-storage hydro initiatives across Maharashtra are aimed at supporting round-the-clock green power.

The Dharavi Redevelopment Project is another major part of the group’s Maharashtra portfolio. Pranav Adani said the project is intended to create modern housing before relocation while formalising and safeguarding microenterprises in the area.

The group also plans integrated airport business and hospitality districts around Mumbai’s two aviation gateways, alongside its wider infrastructure and energy investments across the state.
