Pine Labs Limited and Computer Age Management Services Limited (CAMS) shares gained up to 6% in intraday deals on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) after the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announced a framework to make account aggregators interoperable on 7 October 2026.
The change could broaden the network through which customers access and share financial information. The changes are expected to be implemented by 31 December 2026.
At 12:47 pm today, the Pine Labs share price stood at ₹183.09, up ₹10.36 or 6.00% from the previous close of ₹172.73 on the NSE. On the other hand, at the same time, CAMS share price stood at ₹696.85, up ₹2.95 or 0.43% from the previous close of ₹693.90.
RBI Links Bank Deposits With Demat Data
The change means users registered with one licensed account aggregator can share financial data across regulated institutions even when another aggregator is used by the lender, bank or wealth manager. This could make the account aggregator ecosystem broader and improve data availability.
The RBI is also facilitating Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI)-regulated depositories to include bank deposit information in consolidated account statements through non-banking financial company (NBFC) account aggregators.
This would allow dematerialised (Demat) account holders to view their holdings and bank deposit information together in a consolidated account statement. Customers without demat accounts can also continue using account aggregators to obtain and share a consolidated view of their financial information.
