Indian markets open cautious on 27 May as investors track Siemens earnings, Coal India OFS, JK Tyre results and key corporate updates.
Indian equity markets are set for a closely watched session on Wednesday, 27 May 2026. Investor sentiment might be cautious after the benchmark indices ended lower in the previous session amid profit booking and global geopolitical concerns. The Nifty 50 closed at 23,913, slipping below the 24,000 mark, while traders now turn their attention to earnings reactions, government stake-sale developments and stock-specific triggers.
Stocks In Focus
Siemens
Siemens India reported mixed March quarter results. Consolidated revenue rose 14.6% YoY to ₹4,617.5 crore, compared with ₹4,029.2 crore in Q4FY25. However, net profit declined sharply 36.4% to ₹370.4 crore, versus ₹582.5 crore last year.
JK Tyre & Industries
JK Tyre & Industries' consolidated net profit surged 80.2% to ₹178 crore, compared with ₹98.8 crore in the year-ago period. Revenue climbed 12.4% to ₹4,223.4 crore, against ₹3,758.6 crore last year, reflecting healthy demand and improved operational performance.
Procter & Gamble Health
Procter & Gamble Health's net profit jumped 54.6% YoY to ₹94.6 crore, compared with ₹61.2 crore. Revenue increased 19.1% to ₹3,704.5 crore, versus ₹3,109.9 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Coal India
Coal India will be closely tracked as the Government of India launches its Offer for Sale (OFS). The Centre plans to sell up to 1% stake in the company on 27 May and 29 May, with an option to additionally offload another 1% stake. The OFS floor price has been fixed at ₹412 per share, making it a key event for traders and institutional investors.
Saatvik Green Energy
Saatvik Green Energy has secured a fresh order worth ₹171.45 crore from a leading independent power producer/EPC player for the supply of solar PV modules.
Tata Elxsi
Tata Elxsi announced the launch of ViTel, a material intelligence solution for medical device manufacturers, developed jointly with Viridium AI.
Canara Bank
Canara Bank said its board will meet on 2 June 2026 to consider and approve the bank’s capital raising plan for FY2026–27.
Gujarat Fluorochemicals
Gujarat Fluorochemicals reported a weak profitability performance. Q4 net profit fell 41.4% to ₹112 crore from ₹191 crore. Revenue rose 11.8% to ₹1,369 crore, while other income declined sharply to ₹6 crore from ₹26 crore.
Transport Corporation of India
Transport Corporation of India reported steady growth with Q4 profit rising 8.2% to ₹123.6 crore against ₹114.2 crore, while revenue grew 12.3% to ₹1,323.8 crore from ₹1,178.8 crore.
