Sensex and Nifty 50 went into the red after opening higher on Thursday. Sensex fell about 82 points, while Nifty 50 traded below 24,200 in early trading. Sectoral indices, however, traded in mixed directions.
The Indian stock market indices opened in the green on Thursday, 27 August 2026. However, they soon lost momentum and fell into negative territory.
