The Sensex and the Nifty 50 traded lower in afternoon trade. Benchmarks declined following a fall in global equities ahead of earnings from chip behemoth Nvidia Corp on concerns regarding the artificial intelligence (AI) outlook. At 1:06 pm, the BSE Sensex was down 0.20%, while the Nifty 50 was down 0.33%.
Broader markets were also in the negative. At 1:07 pm, the Nifty Midcap 100 was down 0.13%, while the Nifty Smallcap 100 was down 0.34% at the same time.

Entero Healthcare Solutions gained as much as 6% in early trade after 3P Investment Managers acquired a 2.5% stake in it.
Afcons Infrastructure shares gained almost 4.4% in early trade after the company announced that it had received an arbitral award amounting to ₹335.50 crore.

Two mainboard initial public offerings (IPOs), Sunshine Pictures and Shankesh Jewellers, got listed today. Notably:

Sunshine Pictures shares were listed at a premium of nearly 10% on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

Shankesh Jewellers shares were listed at a premium of over 11% on the NSE.
Outlook For The Remaining Session
Markets are likely to remain volatile in the second half of the session, tracking global cues and investor positioning ahead of Nvidia’s earnings. That said, selective buying in individual stocks could, however, lend some support to the benchmarks.
