Prasol Chemicals IPO Listing: Shares List At A Discount Of Nearly 10%

Prasol Chemicals’ shares made a weak debut on the stock exchanges on 16 September 2026, listing at a discount of nearly 10% to the IPO issue price. The stock opened at ₹610 on the NSE and at ₹611 on the BSE.
Prasol Chemicals made its debut on stock exchanges today, i.e., 16 September 2026. The initial public offering (IPO) of Prasol Chemicals was a mainboard issue and its shares were listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The shares were listed at a discount of nearly 10% compared with the IPO issue price of ₹676 per share in the upper price band. On the NSE, the shares opened at ₹610 apiece. On the BSE, the stock was listed at ₹611 apiece.
Prasol Chemicals IPO And Subscription Details
The Prasol Chemicals IPO carried a price band of ₹643–676 per share. It was open for subscription from 8 September to 10 September. The IPO was valued at ₹500 crore and had a lot size of 22 shares.
The issue comprised a fresh issue of ₹80 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of ₹420 crore. Proceeds from the issue will be used to repay certain borrowings and meet general corporate requirements.
The Prasol Chemicals’ IPO received an overall subscription of 3.30 times, according to NSE data. The non-institutional investor (NII) portion was subscribed 1.80 times, while the retail portion was booked 1.70 times. The qualified institutional buyer (QIB) category saw the strongest demand at 7.22 times.
DAM Capital Advisors Ltd was the book-running lead manager of the IPO, while KFin Technologies Ltd was the issue registrar.
