German Green Steel And Power IPO Listing: Shares List At A Modest Premium Of Over 3% On The Bombay Stock Exchange

German Green Steel and Power’s shares are listed at a modest premium of over 3% to the issue price on the BSE. The issue was oversubscribed by 30.42 times overall and 23.98 times in the retail category.
Shares of German Green Steel and Power Limited began trading on the domestic stock exchanges on a positive note. The stock opened at ₹143.50 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), a premium of 3.14%. On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), it opened at ₹142 apiece, translating into a premium of 2.16%. The issue price was fixed at ₹139 per share at the upper end of the price band.
German Green Steel And Power IPO And Subscription Details
The ₹303.90-crore German Green Steel and Power initial public offering (IPO) opened for subscription on 25 September 2026 and closed on 29 September. The mainboard IPO received a strong response from investors, with the overall subscription reaching 30.42 times.
The non-institutional investor (NII) quota received the maximum subscription, with the reserved portion getting subscribed by over 56.77 times. The qualified institutional buyer (QIB) category was subscribed by 21.91 times, whereas the retail portion was subscribed by 23.98 times.
The IPO comprised a fresh issue of 2.09 crore equity shares worth ₹290 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 10 lakh shares worth ₹13.90 crore.
