Deepa Jewellers Sets 1 September As IPO Opening Date, Eyes ₹250-Crore Fundraise
Deepa Jewellers to open ₹250-crore IPO on September 1 with fresh issue and promoter OFS.

Deepa Jewellers will open its ₹250-crore IPO on 1 September, comprising a fresh issue of ₹250 crore and an OFS of 1.18 crore shares. The company plans to use ₹215 crore from the fresh issue to meet its working capital requirements.

Deepa Jewellers is set to enter the primary market next month with a ₹250-crore initial public offering (IPO). The Telangana-based jewellery company will open its public issue for subscription on 1 September.

The offering will consist of a fresh issue of shares worth ₹250 crore. In addition, promoters Ashish Agarwal and Seema Agarwal will sell 1.18 crore shares through an offer for sale (OFS).

The anchor book will open for institutional investors on 31 August, a day before the IPO opens for other investors. The public issue will close on 3 September.

The company is expected to complete the share allotment process by 4 September. Its shares are likely to make their stock market debut on 8 September.

Deepa Jewellers had filed its draft IPO papers with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) in December 2025. The regulator cleared the company's offer documents in May this year.

The issue will be the second mainboard IPO scheduled to open in September. Rays of Belief is also set to launch its public offering during the month.

Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) will be allocated half of the net issue. Retail investors will get 35% of the offer, while the remaining 15% will be reserved for non-institutional investors (NIIs).

Deepa Jewellers operates as a B2B designer and supplier of hallmarked gold jewellery. Its business spans Telangana, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

The company follows an asset-light manufacturing model. It designs its jewellery and gets the products manufactured through outsourcing arrangements before supplying them to retail chains and standalone jewellery stores.

Deepa Jewellers plans to use most of the money raised through the fresh issue for its working capital needs.

The company has earmarked ₹215 crore for this purpose. The money will primarily be used to purchase inventory and support higher inventory requirements as the business grows.

The balance of the fresh issue proceeds will go towards general corporate purposes. Money raised through the offer for sale will not go to Deepa Jewellers. Instead, the proceeds from the 1.18-crore-share OFS will be received by the selling promoters, Ashish Agarwal and Seema Agarwal.
