Biocon Electric has filed its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for an initial public offering (IPO) of up to 59 lakh equity shares.

The proposed issue is going to include a fresh issue and an offer for sale (OFS). The company plans to use the fresh issue proceeds primarily for working capital requirements.

The IPO will comprise a fresh issue of up to 48 lakh equity shares and an OFS of up to 11 lakh shares by five promoter-selling shareholders. Each of the five selling shareholders will offer up to 2.20 lakh shares.
