Zensar Technologies Share Price Jumps 13%: IT Stock Rallies as AI Concerns Ease; Here’s Why

Zensar Technologies Share Price Today: Zensar Technologies shares jumped as much as 13% to an intraday high of ₹479.90 on Tuesday, as buying interest in IT stocks extended to mid-cap names. The stock remains down over 34% in 2026 despite the rally.
Zensar Technologies was among the mid-cap IT stocks to attract strong buying on Tuesday, with the shares climbing as much as 13% on the NSE. The stock touched ₹479.90 during the session, compared with a previous close of ₹425.25, before giving up some of the gains.
Zensar opened at ₹430 and moved higher as buying spread across the technology pack. At around 9:52 am, the stock was trading at ₹457.25, up 7.52% from the previous close.
The broader market also started Tuesday on a firmer note. The Sensex opened 233.66 points higher at 75,022.37, while the Nifty gained 63.85 points to open at 23,462.30. IT stocks were among the key contributors to the early market strength.
Why Are Zensar Technologies Shares Rising Today?
The rally in Zensar came against the backdrop of renewed buying in Indian IT stocks, with the sector benefiting from changing expectations around the impact of artificial intelligence on traditional technology services.
Concerns about a possible slowdown in AI-led spending and growth in global markets have recently influenced the way investors view technology companies. A moderation in the pace of AI adoption could reduce some of the immediate disruption concerns surrounding conventional IT services, bringing renewed attention to established Indian technology providers.
The move was not limited to Zensar. Several IT stocks gained sharply during Tuesday’s session, lifting the Nifty IT index and putting technology counters back in focus.
Zensar has also continued to add to its business pipeline. The company recently announced a technology transformation partnership with Konkola Copper Mines, expanding its work in digital transformation.
Its latest financial results showed revenue growth as well. Zensar reported revenue of ₹1,508.3 crore for Q1 FY27, an 8.9% increase from the year-earlier period. Revenue in constant currency terms increased 1.1% sequentially.
Zensar Technologies Share Price Performance
Despite Tuesday’s sharp rise, the stock’s broader performance remains weak. Zensar Technologies gained 2.55% over the previous week, but was down 5.86% over the past month. The stock has declined 34.10% so far in 2026 and is 42.85% lower over the past year.
The longer-term performance has also remained subdued, with the shares down 12.45% over three years and 20.24% over five years.
Tuesday’s move therefore represents a strong intraday rebound for the mid-cap IT stock after a prolonged period of weakness.
