Advent To Acquire 24.9% Stake
The investment will give Advent a 24.9% stake in Yatharth Hospital.
The Tyagi family, which currently promotes the hospital chain, will remain its largest shareholder after the transaction. The family will continue to be involved in guiding the company's long-term direction.
Yatharth Hospital operates nine multi-speciality hospitals with around 2,800 beds across North India. Its total announced capacity is close to 3,250 beds.
Yatharth Tyagi, whole-time director of Yatharth Hospital, said the investment would help the company expand its network and strengthen its healthcare capabilities. Advent also brings its experience in the healthcare sector and in working with founder-led businesses.
Advent managing director Pankaj Patwari said the investment reflects the private equity firm's continued focus on India's healthcare sector.
Advent has previously invested in Indian pharmaceutical companies. Its healthcare investments have also included CARE Hospitals in 2012.
Yatharth Hospital Revenue Rises 51%
Yatharth Hospital reported a 51% year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue to ₹392.70 crore for the quarter ended June.
Average revenue per occupied bed rose 7% from a year earlier to ₹34,758.
Yatharth Tyagi told analysts during the company's earnings call that the hospital chain grew 37% in FY26. He also said the company was set to surpass that growth rate in the current financial year.
The fresh capital from Advent comes as Yatharth continues to expand its hospital network and capacity.
