VRL Logistics Q2 Results: PAT Doubles To ₹103 Crore, Revenue Up 21%
VRL Logistics reported a profit after tax (PAT) of ₹103 crore for Q2 FY27, more than twice the ₹50 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter last year.
Revenue from operations increased 20.7% to ₹962 crore from ₹797 crore. Revenue was also up 9% compared with the June quarter. For the first half of FY27, the company reported revenue growth of 19% year on year.
Higher freight volumes played a part in the improvement. Volumes increased 11% year on year during the September quarter and were up 6% sequentially. For the first six months of FY27, the increase stood at 10%.
The company also managed better freight realisations. VRL said higher fuel costs and the rationalisation of freight contracts had led it to revise freight rates. As a result, realisation per unit improved 9% year on year in Q2. It also rose 3% over the previous quarter.
EBITDA Rises 46%; Operating Margin Expands To 23%
