    Vedanta Aluminium reported strong June-quarter earnings, driven by robust revenue growth and improved operating profitability. The company also declared an interim dividend of ₹8 per share, with August 5 fixed as the record date for eligible shareholders.

    Vedanta Aluminium reported its Q1 FY27 results on Thursday, July 30, 2026. The metals and mining company delivered strong growth in revenue and profitability during the April-June quarter, supported by improved operating performance.

    The company posted a consolidated net profit attributable to shareholders of ₹5,629 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared with ₹1,781 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

    Revenue from operations rose 46% year-on-year to ₹21,393 crore from ₹14,654 crore in the year-ago period.

    On a sequential basis, net profit increased 33.8% from ₹4,207 crore in the March quarter, while revenue grew 11.9% from ₹19,124 crore.

    Operating performance also improved during the quarter. EBITDA rose 23.3% quarter-on-quarter to ₹10,299 crore from ₹8,352 crore, while EBITDA margin expanded to 48.14% from 43.68%, reflecting stronger operating profitability.

    Alongside its quarterly results, the company's board approved the first interim dividend of ₹8 per equity share with a face value of ₹1 each for the financial year 2026-27.

    The interim dividend will result in a total payout of ₹3,128.55 crore, according to the company's exchange filing.

    Vedanta Aluminium has fixed August 5, 2026, as the record date to determine the eligibility of shareholders for receiving the interim dividend.

    The company did not provide detailed financial guidance for FY27. Investors will watch management's commentary on aluminium demand, production volumes, metal prices and raw material costs, which are expected to remain key drivers of earnings over the coming quarters.

    Vedanta Aluminium shares gained after the earnings announcement. The stock rose as much as 3.3% during Thursday's session to touch an intraday high of ₹454.45.

    At around the close of trade, the shares were trading 2.5% higher at ₹451.05 on the NSE, reflecting a positive market reaction to the June-quarter results and the interim dividend announcement.
